Matt King

I joined Real Life in 2024 as the High School and Young Adults Director. I am passionate about connecting people to one another and the church. I’m excited to see both High School and Young Adults grow in this aspect! There is a massive need for students at a young age to know and love Jesus in a deeply personal way and my hope is that, as a church, we can help guide and lead our students into that life that is so worth it.

I grew up in a Christian home and have wonderful parents who taught my twin brother and myself from an early age that following Jesus is the best thing that we will ever do. I never saw myself pursuing ministry, but the Lord works in crazy ways and after getting a B.S. in Youth Ministry and my M.Div. from Liberty University, I jumped into ministry full-time and have been in it ever since.

I love to spend time with my incredible wife, Rachel, and we also have a mini-golden doodle named Chandler who you will probably see at many church events in the future! I also love to read, workout, and I am a big Star Wars Lego nerd, just stop by my office if you ever want to get an understanding of just how much!
