Jesus > everything isn’t just a statement to agree with - it’s a way of life. All life is built around rhythms or callings that shape our thoughts and behaviors. These callings aren’t linear. Each one is part of a whole- take one or two out and things are incomplete. It is important to also notice we never “arrive” (until heaven) because living Jesus> everything is a lifelong process.
Read below to explore each calling and learn how to Start, Grow and Go in each. This is what our church is about. This is what we encourage all to walk in as we develop our relationship with Jesus. Again, we never “arrive” because each calling can be taken deeper, nor do you abandon them to move on to the next step. Each of these rhythms build upon one another and should be constantly evolving in our lives.
A Worshiper abides in Christ, dependent on His love and authority.
Why develop ourselves as Worshipers? Because God is amazing and loves you! “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever.” Worship is about abiding in Jesus and aligning our lives in submission to God to bring Him glory. A worshiper cultivates a personal relationship with God by: reading the Bible, praying, being in community, participation regularly in the church, and practicing the spiritual disciplines. All these (and more) are done in response to God’s love for us, to keep our hearts aligned with His and to bring Him glory.
Taking these steps below will build a firm foundation in your relationship with God, and help you engage in the following grow and go rhythms with a heart, mind, and soul focused on Him.
As your relationship with Jesus grows these rhythms help you incorporate a Jesus > everything mindset to all areas of your life.
Jesus spent 3 years with His disciples and then sent them to do the ministry. God’s desire is that you don’t just grow, but that you go (in fact- most growing happens when you go) These rhythms call you to go and help others live Jesus > everything.
A Servant serves regularly; both in and out of the church.
Why Serve? Because God loves you and served you! Every Christian is to strive to be more like Jesus and Jesus came to serve. He laid down His life to show the way of love, the way of God’s Kingdom, and to save us. Living Jesus > everything means gladly (or at times simply to be obedient) giving of yourself to serve others. The Holy Spirit empowers believers with Spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ (Church) and strengthens us to show and speak the love of Jesus to those in our lives who don’t know Him.
These will build a firm foundation in your relationship with God, and help you engage in the following grow and go rhythms with a heart, mind, and soul focused on Him.

A Connector builds Christ-centered community.
Why build community with others? Because He calls each one of us to be part of His family. The Christian life isn’t hard to do alone…it’s impossible. Every Christian is part of a larger body called the Church. The Church is to be an expression of Jesus to the world by the way each believer pours into, challenges, encourages, and loves one another. Living Jesus > everything means intentionally cultivating Jesus- centered relationships in the church to grow your own faith, help others grow their faith and to be the expression of God’s unifying love to the world.

A Witness shares how the Gospel has impacted their life.
Why Witness? The story and invitation of Jesus is one everybody who lives Jesus > everything is called to share. His story is not just about what He did in the past, but what He is doing in your life today. A witness is someone who has seen and experienced Jesus in their life and approaches each day with a desire to share what Jesus has done and is doing with others, and, when given the opportunity, inviting them to follow Him.

A Steward manages all entrusted resources for God’s glory.
Why “Steward”? Because a steward is not an owner, but a steward is responsible for that which he has been entrusted. God wants us to recognize and rest in His authority over all we have. Stewards are to be wise, faithful, and discerning of all He has given us. Living Jesus> everything means knowing the greatest use of our resources is to bring God glory and expand His Kingdom.
